The effect of abdominal and back Meridian massage on changes of
abdominal temperature in middle-aged women
ABSTRACT
The purpose of the study is comparing changes of abdominal temperature of middle-aged women
between treatment and non-treatment abdominal and back meridian massage. The objects were middle-
aged women who complain of frozen abdominal and abdominal obesity. The results were as followed:
In the abdominal and back meridian massage group, the left(p<.001)/right(p<.01) abdominal
temperature was increased significantly and the temperature difference between left and right abdominal
was decreased significantly(p<.05). There was no significant difference found before and after
the treatment in control group.
