A Study on the color of Korean traditional hair accessories
ABSTRACT
This study is concentrated on Korean traditional hair accessories for finding its sort, color, color arrangement method, symbolization and meaning. And I will give theoretical basis by studying how to determine their design due to personal image, atmosphere, circumstances. I examine variety of accessories was used in Chosun dynasty, I made a theoretical study and case study using photos and data from TV drama, paper, Internet, books. As a result, Korean traditional hair accessories was frequently expressed by Oh-Bang Color and Oh-Bang-Gan Color. And similar color combination and a complementary color combination by strong color comparison were used in color arrangement. In TV drama, they emphasis player's character using appropriate accessories, color arrangement. In TV drama and cinema, they can express their characteristic to receiver more effectively by image arrangement using color.
