Yeong-Eun Park
ABSTRACT
6 women in age of 20~25 were treated with the upper body beauty facial therapy on the upper body side of excessively developed mandible or wider face. Thorax, mandible, maxilla and cranial bone were observed of their skeletal changes. The method taken for the measurement was to measure the sizes of relevant body parts with a ruler and to take X-rays of cranial bone and upper body. The measurements were taken for 7 times during the experiment from Apr. 4, 2008 ~ Aug. 25, 2008. The measurements of exprmentee's body parts after the upper body beauty facial therapy showed measurements of upper chest, chest, lower chest, shoulders (left and right), arms (left and arms), eyes to ears (left and right), glabella, ings of nose, eys to mouth (left and right) and mouth to mandible (left and right) all showed reduced measurements. The result of statics was meaningful with confidence level of 95%. X-rays of facial bones before and after the treatment showed reductions of average values in jaw, ings of nose, center to year (right), collarbone, front of cranial bone, maxilla and mandible. On the contrary, measurement of center to years (left) and sides of cranial bone increased. The most reduced measurement was shown in mandible. The average measurement was 87.93cm before the treatment, but it was 82.63 after the treatment to show 6.03% reduction rate. Changes in ings of noses showed 5.30% reduction rate and collarbones 4.41%. In this study, it was verified that upper body beauty facial manual techniques bring meaningful change of 95% in facial bones including, jaw, ings of nose, front of cranial bone, mandible and collarbone. Through this study, the effect of beauty facial manual techniques for balance of human body were verified.
