Third, 85.1% of the subjects reported not having a regular health examination. Despite the negative effect caused by harmful chemical substances in the nail care service, those working in this industry do not accept such substances as very harmful substances without practicing any act to prevent related diseases. Such tendency seems to have originated from their failure of taking proper action when experiencing subjective symptoms as they understand those symptoms as temporary. Not only for those working in the nail care industry but also for beauty care professionals who deal with a large amount of chemical substances, a regular health examination as well as special health examination that assesses accumulation of chemical substances should be provided for consistent health management among the nail care professionals.
