| ABSTRACT |
|
This research was performed to find out the effect of removal of the dead stratum corneum
through applying ultrasound skin scrubber on facial skin.
The subjects of this research were 13 female college students age of 20's who volunteered for the
research program. Cleansing, skin analysis, vaporizing, applying ultrasound skin scrubber, and pack
application for the care procedure were included. Massage was not given for avoiding the variable
points from massage procedure. The care program was given from Oct. 17 to Oct. 28, 2005. The
data for roughness, moist degree, face color tone were colleced via SMS premier program.
The result of this research were as follows:
1. Roughness degree was decreased 1.36%(mean) after the final care compared to the pre-care
2. Moist degree was decreased from 52.7% to 44.7%(mean) after applying Ultrasound skin
scrubber.
3. Moist degree was elevated from 44.7% to 52.7.7%(mean) after applying seaweed mask.
Finally this study showed that the effect of removal of the dead stratum corneum through applying
ultrasound skin scrubber on facial skin was especially on roughness degree and .moist degree.
Furthermore, facial treatment for elevation moist degree should be given after removal of the dead
stratum corneum through applying ultrasound skin scrubber on facial skin. |
