Study subjects were 150 women who were living in Seoul and whose age were between 20 and 50. And a questionnaire them into a control group (n=3) and an experiment group (n=3). The control group received diamond peeling, whereas the experiment group received diamond peeling and the first step clay peel mask of clay peeling. The questionnaire survey shows that respondents mostly concern about nasal area for the facial sebaceous secretion. The comparison of photos shows that the experiment group has a better result in the reduction of sebaceous secretion and blackhead than the control group. As for the satisfaction after experiment, all the subjects are satisfied greatly. Study findings show that the use of both mechanical and chemical peelings together results in the synergistic effect, an effect better than any other effects derived from the use of any single technique. This study seems to be meaningful in that it provides scientific and objective data for the reduction of nasal sebaceous secretion and blackhead and therefore provides useful data which can be used as the technique of skin care that enhances user satisfaction. The investigator hopes this kine of study is carried out frequently and actively in the future as an effective and objective strategy of medical skin care, thus resulting in the improvement of skin care strategies.
