| The effect of foot reflexology treatments on old women;s cardiovascular system and blood glucose

| ABSTRACT |
|
The identical objects were ten old women's participated in the study. Foot reflexology treatments operated 40minutes one time, twice a week and for 10 weeks. The changes of blood glucose and a cardiovascular function were measured. We reached a conclusion. Pulse pressure(p<.01), systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, heart rate, Double Product(DP), and blood glucose(p<.001) were significantly decrease after the foot reflexology treatments. When compare between two conditions, FM was decrease in all the factor more than NFM. Therefore, in conclusions, Foot reflexology treatments can be useful alternative tool of exercise for old women because it effects positively on old women's cardiovascular system and changes of blood glucose.
