| ABSTRACT |
|
The effect of ultrasound and vitamin C on the skin wrinkle improvement was studied. Nine
women between 30's and 40's with gradual wrinkles already formed participated to this work. 1
MHz Sono Eraser made by Nicon company was used for a typical skin care massage with or without
vitamin C formula for a period of 2 months. The evaluation for skin wrinkle improvement was
done by eye examination and using a machine, Skin Visiometer SV600.
Through the survey, it was found that the simultaneous treatment of skin using ultrasound and
vitamin C formula was more efficient than that of the treatment using the ultrasound alone. Also it
was found that the skin treatment using ultrasound with vitamin C formula was more safe comparing
to the ultrasound system alone. According to the question and answer of the experiment participants,
the same conclusion that they preferred the simultaneous employment of ultrasound and vitamin
C could be deduced.
From this result, it was concluded that ultrasound and vitamin C formula is seemed to be an
efficient skin treatment method to improve the skin wrinkle in a relatively short period. |
