Aesthetic Approaches in Myofascial Pain Syndrome(MPS)

ABSTRACT
Aesthetics has currently emerged as a new field of study as the methods of early aesthetics based on experience in pursuing the beauty of individuals, dramatically developed into the knowledge on the character and structure of body. The concept of therapy can be employed in performing massage in the field of aesthetics, such manual therpies work by neutralizing the effect of stress on human bodies and by preventing chronic myofascial pain syndrome(MPS) and physical deformity. Myofascia is applied to fibrous endless web of connective tissue which are wrapped round various structure of body, myofascia especially muscle, serve to keep them in definite function. Myofascia can form adhesions and it alters the internal structure of muscle with deposits of gristle that produce muscle tension, decreasing of circulation, pain and limit movement. Myofascial pain syndrome is kind of muscular pain, it shows a symptom that a trigger point occurs within muscles and fascia. A trigger point is a sensitive point in a firm band. When it is pressured, it shows related pain an autonomic sympton and a limit of the scope of extension. To efficiently treat professional aesthetic to control MPS, it need to study western and oriental manual therapies and to apply clinically. We suggest that aesthetic methods be safe, econimic, easy and effective to treat MPS.
